Will system restore remove UKASH virus?

Hi,

I'm sorry if this has been covered somewhere, but I have NO clue what I am dealing with.

I was struck with the ukash virus today, and after many many attempts of trying getting into safemode before it locked me out, I managed to get in and do a system restore which has taken me back to a time that's earlier than when the thing hit me.

I noticed that programs I installed after the said time I went back to were uninstalled - good, it worked. But, can I be sure that this virus/maleware has been rid of JUST from this system restore? Is there some way I can find out? It has been working, restarting etc. without any signs of the damned white screen that occured with the ukash virus since I did the restore.

Should I do anything else with this? Or is this gone, not to be a problem again?

I would appreciate your feedback so much, but please, I'm not to 'up' on computers, so maybe the technical jargon could be avoided if possible please

Let's check your system for any traces of it by downloading the latest version of MGtools and save it to your root folder. You should have it here:
C:\MGTools.exe. Run the exe (Note: if using Vista or Win7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

You can then attach the resultant log which will be at C:\MGLogs.zip.
