I want to upgrade my video card to a 7900 gt. My current specs are:

    Athlon 64 3200 (stock speed)
    2 gig Corsair XMS Ram
    80 GB western digital HD
    DFI lanparty Ultra-D Mobo

So will there be any bottlenecking issues with this setup?

Looks good. Might want to consider upgrading/adding another hard drive, 80 gigs seems a little low, for me at least. Also, with that DFI mobo you could really crank up that 3200, if u wanted.

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't know how to overclock (seems very complicated to me). I'm afraid I'll start a fire or something. I mainly built my computer for gaming and am more concerned about getting nice graphics and more fps. Plus I am using the stock heatsink and fan so I can't imagine that is suitable for overclocking the cpu.

Only when you get into extreme overclocking can it get kinda scary. There are all kinds of tutorials all over the web, including here in the Overclocking section. Read up on it, its not that bad. And if you are goin for the most performance in your games, overclocking is a great way to boost performance.

The stock heatshink should do just fine for low to moderate overclocking.
