Will This Video Card Work With My Computer?

Here's the video card I want to buy:

My computer (desktop) is a Dell XPS 400 (2005) with a 375 W power supply, service tag 3GBJY81. Specs can be found here.

I used to have Win XP, which supported my 128 MB ATI Radeon X300 SE just fine. However, I upgraded to Win 7, and because ATI discontinued support for this particular graphics card, I can't get a working driver for Win 7. So, I'm forced to use the generic 32 MB VGA driver.

So, my question is, will the video card mentioned in the above link work fine with my XPS 400 that now runs Win 7? I mean, will I be able to install it with no trouble, and have it working correctly?

The driver for the card I want to buy can be found here. To get to this page I went here then selected GeFore, GeForce 8 Series, GeForce 8400 GS, Windows 7 32-Bit. Are there any known problems with this driver with regards to my question?

 

Everything looks good to me but a 5 year old 375W PSU could be pushing the limits, especially since it's an OEM. I'd still go for it if you're willing to change your PSU too if needed as you will now be borderline as far as power is concerned.

That's the real question as you have a slim designed case. Pull out the tape measure man and check as I have no idea if a regular ATX will fit in there. I do like the Corsair though probably overkill for ya.
