will XP games work on vista!??

by any chance will games like guild wars,CoD4 and rome total war etc. would work on vista OS????

 

Yes most will, but run slower as vista uses a tad more system resources.

most of the time, the lag is unnoticeable. however, if you were on the 'edge' of smooth vs. rough performance before... expect it to be 'rough' now if you are using the same hardware as before.

 

Just about any system means an upgrade to go to Vista. The upgrades get more severe if you want to play games.

 

I too have got CoD4 but i want to switch back to Vista ultimate but i have just upgraded to Pentium Quad Core and a 512mb GFX Card do you this will handle it well?

for the record..my girl plays BF2 on Vista...and its as smooth as glass...i tried it when i was round an thought it was so much better than XP once u get past the initial compat problems

 

the newer the game the more likely it will work fine.

 

Every game I played on XP plays equally as well on Vista. I've noticed no drop in performance since the upgrade.

 

Bullshit. Absolute bullshit. Have you seen any benchmarks for Vista Vs XP on games? They're cloe but in nearly every case vista gets better frames.
