    I have a client who randomly cant get online. He is in a ethernet network building and has a direct connection to our switch and is even receieving dhcp. But for some reason he can't ping any outside networks or use the internet. Any ideas?

    turned out to be vpn issues.


    its the worst when clients tell you they updated vpn software an hour after you orginally asked them :)

    I'm surprised you allow your clients to update their machines! They should be locked down!
