My husband's laptop was infected with Win 7 Antivirus... I think I was able to remove it but the next day it came back. Malware bytes got rid of it again. I updated his Avast which found sun java issues when doing a scan and a boot scan removed a few files. I also updated oracle java and removed the older versions. I'm not sure everything is gone.

His computer is slow and the mouse freezes when using the scroll... he doesn't use the scroll, so maybe this has always been an issue and he's never noticed... but since I've been trying to clean it up, just the pointer freezes when trying to scroll with the touch pad. Everything else works fine when this happens and I can use the tab key to maneuver enough to restart the laptop. And when it's shutting down, I saw these errors.

Access violation at address 743E81FB Read of address 743E81FB
Access violation at address 004709DD Read of address 00000010

I am running Superantispyware, will run malware bytes again, and then combofix and attach logs.

Thanks for any information in the mean time! :)
