Installed Win 7 last nite, and have some questions.

    1. How can I get the "Classic View?"

    2. How do I move my Outlook files from Vista to Win 7? (Outlook 2007)

    3. How can I put an Outlook Shortcut on my task bar?

    4. Can I put Win 7 Home premium on a second hard drive on the same computer?

#1) Try this, though I prefer W7's layout.:)

#4) Best and easiest would be installing W7 Premium first and W7 whatever after for a dual boot.

Hmm, just had a rethink here.;) Is it the same disk that you're wanting to install? That would be illegal.

However I've had the same OS on the same drive but on a different partition, still illegal but another option if you want to test something. Better yet is running a virtual machine for that.

Sorry if I wasn't able to convey my thought...

One Box with two Hard Drives.

VISTA 64 Home Premium on primary Hard Drive, and Win 7 Home Premium on the other Hard Drive.

Question: Can I install Win 7 (legally) on the 2nd Hard Drive (VISTA)?.

They are both in the same box?!

Thanx for any, and all input.

Yes, you can install W7 legally alongside Vista on the second drive and in the same box. I was under the impression that you wanted to load two instances of W7 with the same key. :-o

Yes, go right ahead in installing W7 on second drive. You will then, upon reboot, have a menu come up asking you which OS you want to boot into. Just make sure that you install W7 on drive 1(second drive). First drive is drive 0.

    Hi

    2. follow this for import export of your .pst http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070
    3. Right click Outlook icon and choose pin to taskbar or right click the taskbar and choose pin, then browse for the application

    1. forget classic view and either pin common used apps to the start menu, or like me I never really use start > programs menu any more, easier to start to type the name of the app you want in the start search box, once used to it its godd and aids productivity.
