Powershell.exe stopped working, shut down.

This just keeps happening and the laptop is really slow doing anything at all from startup to shutdown and in between. I have run Norton Security Suite, and cleaned all cookies, and temporary files and increased the virtual memory.

Please help me.

Hi

Had you before this happened updated Win 7 by any chance? if so check the installed updates (Update History) for any failed updates and let us know, plus also uninstall it and reboot then try checking for Windows Updates again.

Some updates that fail have a knock on effect and can cause issues in Powershell, however do you use this software? if not very outside chance is malware so run some scans and visit our malware forum, but before that try running Windows in Safe Mode with Networking and see if you get any issues with this error.
