Win 7 Start Up Msg. - Hard-disk Drive Failure

    Have been getting this message. It happens a few times but not always.
    I then got an option to do a test and decided to run test and now it is showing an error code : 2000-01 42
    I have attached pic.
    any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    BTW I did have a virus a week ago but I think I was able to get rid of it.

    Is there alot of dust inside the PC? Might just need to be cleaned or have the power connections reset. Before trying that make sure to turn it off and unplug the unit. Let it sit for about 30 seconds before unplugging anything inside...
