Win 7 system files

Can someone post a zip of the Windows 7 system and system32 files? I want compare some files to an infected system and see whats missing.

 

You mean a *list* of those files, right? Actually providing them is illegal.

I found this nugget on the net and tried it:

I did this on one of Win 7 machines and got the attached list. Note that your machine is likely going to be different, but if this helps, here you go...

 

Unless you want to go blind comparing those txt files and then checking CRC's, I suggest you go the route suggested in #3.

If you suspect malware, missing files may not be the answer, what's been inserted into otherwise legitimate files could be more relevant.

 

Oh, without a doubt...

I suggested as much earlier. but if he wants a list of a somewhat typical Win 7 core, why not ?
