Re: Win 7 x64 firewall icon

Would you recommend using Windows Firewall Control to enhance security?

I would Recommend Some thing like AVG internet Security worth the money haven't had a virus in a few years and i would all so get malwarebytes as your third firewall.

    AVG internet Security

    malwarebytes

If your looking for Security i would use these.

And then for All in one tools i would use these
    Advance System Care 5

    And
    Smart Defrag

This is what i use to keep clean and rarely have an issue with virus or malware.

    Thank you for your advice.
I hope you are behind a hardware router also.
MBAM is good, complemented by a good av/ program.
I was not familiar with Win 7 default firewall but from what I have read and been told, and being behind the router I feel ok.
My habits are safe and although anything is possible, there is always Acronis.

Btw, a new Win 7 registry backup which will supplant ERUNT is in the final beta stage of testing. It is very ez to backup the registry, recover it even if you cannot access the program via Windows.
    Google for it.

    >>I am not a tech but I feel a hardware firewall is a substantial idea. I like to be the administrator, not the isp.
I would not depend on the isp for security but to each his own.
