Win 8.1 iso to dvd

    Hello I am running Win 8.1
    I am downloading the win 8.1x 64 iso file with 2 hours to go.
    When it is done, what can I expect?
    Will there be an installation process requiring the 8.1 prod key as I read the 8 key will not work.
    I received an email saying the 8 key did work.
    Is there a place to get a general key that will work?
