How do you remove your picture from your local account. I never put it there but was using it for the lock screen.

 

Do you have a facebook account? If so, is the picture you see on outlook.com the same as your facebook picture?

 

I do no social networking.
The problem, now resolved was a glitch, I think. The way to do it is to click on 'edit my profile' and then simply 'remove my picture'. I did that, closed and opened, and it was still there. That is when I reached out.
I tried it several times and at the 4th or 5th time it worked. Even a reboot would not fix it.
The question I have, theoretically, is who put the picture there to begin with. I sometime get the feeling with this push to synchronize etc. that we are nudged into some things we don't want to be in.
I sent a business letter to a Corp. only to see, as it was going, that my daughter's family's picture was on it, next to my name.
I wrote them the obligatory apology but am still red faced.
Do you do Facebook or any of those networking sites, if I may ask? I wonder about safety.
