Win 8 refresh

    Hello
    After refresh is done, do you install Windows updates or the programs that refresh left on desktop or in the download folder?
    How should you set Windows, to notify or automatic?

    Always good to chat....

    If you have done a re-fresh of Windows 8 then you will need to install your common used software and or apps again as the refresh removes all, then I would personally have Windows update set to automatically install updates.

    In windows 8 I'm ok with this as it give the option not to install instantly thus shutting down your PC while in the middle of some task, but it delays it foe a few days or until a reboot, seems logical to me.

    I have not run it but watched tutorials and was concerned that there would be two programs downloading simultaneously.

    I did not see the option to delay which prompted my message.

    This way I can install the programs I lost, then have Windows install updates.

    Is this prompt to delay at the end or??
