Win 95

I have a friend whose still running Win 95. I would like to know if anybody knows a good, preferably free, spyware removal utility that will run in Win 95? I have tried to install Adaware already and it just asks for a bunch of .dll's to be installed. Spbybot managed to install on it but does not seem to get all the files. Any help is appreciated.

 

Hi. I'm running Spybot Search & Destroy, v1.3. It works great. I understand prior versions didn't work as well. Suggest you remove the spybot currently installed and install a new Spybot, v 1.3. Good luck.

In answer to my own question and for hopeful future support. For those who may have to work on a Win 95 machine I have found a website which supports a download for Adaware 5.5 this will run on a Win95 machine. Unfortunatly it does not have any updatable reference files. I hope this will help any of you whom may need it.
