win 98 error

    when i turn on my pc running win 98 it says that
    then it says press enter to continue. then the same happens to a file called "dfs.vxd". then i press enter and it loads windows and i get this error box saying

    can anyone help me??

    Have you installed a network card recently? If so, look for an updated driver.

    yes i did. i fixed the problem by reparing the existing intsallation
