    I am trying to locate drivers for my network card..I know very little about computers and would appreciate any help in identifying this card, and finding the proper drivers

    ... first there is an fcc i.d. ejmnpdpila84758
    (e139761)

    there are two bar code stickers with these numbers

    352433-004 01004826613

    00a0c916ec4a

    and on the board itself tereis this etched in it

    pb352434-004

    I am currently looking to see if I can identify any of these numbers to make sure it is an
    Intel 8255x-based PCI Ethernet Adapter(10/100)

    I just called kingston and they say that there should be a model number somewhere that starts with a K and this does not have one...Now I am confused.

    I found that it is an Intel card made by Kingston but no other info. (like a Model#) You could try a generic Intel 10/100 driver.

    I researched the card at Intel (and elsewhere) and it appears that there are no 'external' driver available because they are built-in. Win98/ME/2000/XP have native support for this ethernet adapter.

    >>> EDIT <<<
    I found it!!! It wasn't easy, but here it is!

    @joking1970: I've been helping you through this in the software forum, and I don't think the problem is the network card. I think the problem is the router. Check your thread in the software as I have added another 'ping' to try to see if the card is working right.

    Good luck!

    Allright I worked with the AT&T DSL support for a bit, they had me add some ip's in my dns tab...That did not work, and they said the only other suggestion was to install entrnet 300 in my system. I guess it came in the installation c.d. from yahoo dsl. I am looking to see if it is offered as a download, but cannot find it.I do have the c.d.(from yahoo) but it is in another tower that I had someone else fixing. So it will be a couple of days before I get it back.
