I'm not familar with 98, at least not in a Home Network or LAN enviroment. I'm working on a friend's PIII 600 Mhz, 128 MB Ram, that he wants to set up for his kid. How do I configure the Network settings to enable DHCP to accept an IP from a router? Ipconfig shows it being disabled. I'm used to 95 and 98 on Dialup.

    Thanks

Thanks just the walk-through I needed. The NIC was missing the reqd TCP/IP protocols.
