win me graphic driver problem

Hey all

I have winME OS and I tried to update my geforce2 ti to the new forceware drivers 77.72. I have followed the instructions disabled antivirus, uninstalled old restart and installed new one.

But during installation Me throws a tantrum about not finding a file called nvaml.inf, and ask for nvidia compatibility list disk1 which I dont have so i get stuck with generic drivers and I'm forced to sys restore to get drivers back properly

 

try uninstalling your current video driver, run a program called driver cleaner on this site, and see if you can find an older driver for your graphics card (not sure where to find them from). Probably something from the 40 series.

The 70 and 80 series nvidia drivers are usually optimised for the newer graphics cards
