win media player 10

hi all,

i just updated to windows media player 10 and am having problems playing any movie clips. i tired opening an mpeg and a screen comes up saying win media player cannot play the file, please check if the network connection is intact or the server may be busy, etc. However minutes before that i played the same clip in win media player 9 before i updated. any help? all the options for movies are checked, mpeg, avi, etc, so i know its not the file types just not playing and i know it isnt the clip itself, is there something i am missing? thanks!

 

Media Player 10 is really new and probably doesn't have all the bug out yet. Fresh from beta software always has problems. Try going back to 9 and waiting out the fix-it phase for 10.


It'll probably be better than have to search for all the fixes that may come up with 10.
