Win media player 9 prob.

I downloaded the update from windows the other day. It was working fine til I tried to start my pc yesterday. And got this -
Virtual Memory error messages
Windows corrupted files errors
And it kept getting stuck in a startup loop. (AKA was only able to start up MAYBE once every tenth try.)
Would freeze up when I could get to the desktop.
Everytime I tried to open any window I would get the virtual memory error again.

Finally I was able to do a system restore.
And I reset the virtual memory levels on the computer.

Now it's working properly. BUT I'm getting an internal application error when I try to run Windows Media Player 9.
PLEASE HELP!!!???
