Win Update not available via IE6 Tools menu

    Hello,
    for some reason my parents IE6 does not show the Windows Update option under the Tools menu. Does anyone know why?
    They are running Win XP Home SP1, 40G HDD, 512 Ram...
    I can google the windows update on their PC no problem and use it -but I'm curious as to why it isn't shoing up in Internet Explorer 6's 'Tools' menu.
