    Hi guys,

I'm curently running win xp and I need to clean it up. I've got so much shit that's in the msconfig set to start up (i've tuned most of it off) and when i open the task manager there are so many processes that I don't recognise it's unreal.

I really don't want to format this computer again, it's such a pain in the rear end, are there any programs I can buy/download that will identify what these processes and start up items are. Basically something that will make tidying my machine up relatively easy work?

    Thanks for any help
    Dave

If you want easy, pay someone to do it for you while you go shoot a round of pool.

If you want to do it yourself, with a little help from your friends, go here and run the beginning of the malware trail. Run Hijack this and post a log here in software. We can look at that and advise.
