Based on an article I found here, I d/l'd the MS debugger (windbg) and set it up. Each time I try to view the crash dump, the results will give some info, but each time there are errors. I'm new to this, obviously.

    Symbol search path is: SRV*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols
    Executable search path is:
Unable to load image ntoskrnl.exe, Win32 error 2
**** Kernel symbols are WRONG. Please fix symbols to do analysis.

I need to diagnose three BSODs. I can get to the minidumps now, thanks to that earlier article, but I'm stuck on the "wrong symbols" message. I need to get as much info as possible about my BSODs because Dell says it's a bad hard drive and I disagree.

I believe I have the correct version of the debugger for XP; I went back and checked. Not sure what else to do.

    Thanks!

    Teresa
