Morning SMOKIN,,,if you read OUR software thread,at MG SITE ,you will see that the vast majority have installed the SP2 service pack and have non to very few problems,,,I have been running a beta before a public release about 3 -4 months now,,,FLAWLESS,,UNTILL I tried the IP LOOPBACK patch,,,I was trying to fix what was not broken, MY BAD !!!,just trying to keep current with updates,,,a simple restore point and rollback fixed the problem !!!

ALSO it is removable, so if you do run into PROBLEMS, can uninstall the SP2 service pack,,,and go on with your life LOL,,,Glenn

We have sys admins call us at work all the time.

I would daresay there is a 15% rate for complete idiocy amongst them.

So yeah, thats about right.

15% idiocy falling into the admin group, 15% failure with SP2.

just to let you know that i have had no problem with sp2 install, ot the pent 4.
i just thought that it was interesting

are they that competent, to have to REBUILD the entire system?
