Win XP

    I recently upgraded to Win XP and now I cannot read my History file...it is coming up a .dat file and when I click on it, it is just code. Can I fix this??

    I take it by history file you mean the index.dat file thats in Temp Internet folder?

    bear in mind with XP there are many index.dat files.
