Hi! I am having issues with my Win10/64 laptop. Sometimes, the keyboard's repeat rate slows, and I don't know how to increase the speed. Also, the screen saver takes several seconds to start and several seconds to shut down. Both issues are annoying. I really want the screen saver and need a faster keyboard. Any ideas? :(

The keyboard settings are in the Control Panel, goto Advanced Settings. I presume you are using the laptops keyboard.
Not sure what you mean about the screen saver, I don't use one.

I thank you about the keyboard issue, and, by the issue with the screen saver, I mean the system gets close to locking up when the screen saver starts up and shuts down, and the processes take too long.

    Is it a custom screensaver?

I couldn't find the keyboard settings. I clicked the Settings icon and searched for keyboard and didn't find them. :(

It does this with any screen saver. :(

In the search box on the taskbar, type control panel, and then select Control Panel.

The screen saver originally was designed to show a series of pictures one after the other to stop the screen burn that used to happen with older monitors. Is this what you are referring to, or does your screen go black? If this is the case (going black) your computer may be going into hibernation mode, which is an entirely different matter.

The screen does not turn black. It turns green. The screen saver actually does work, but it takes about 15 seconds, and I can't do anything during those 15 seconds. :(

Was this laptop bought with, or upgraded to, Windows 10 64-bit?

    Upgraded. It came with Win8.1.

You could try reducing the screen resolution, as your graphics chip might be struggling. (1024 x 768 , maybe)
The mouse can be problem, as sometimes they need drivers updating,or, rolled back to get them right- other times they can seem to have a will of there own.

This is probably where the problem lies.
How much RAM does it have?
Also, try upgrading the graphics drivers.

    * It has 4 GB PAM.
    * How do I upgrade the graphics drivers?
