Win11/64: Problem Opening .c Files In Alt. Option?

Hi! I've been having a slight issue on my Win11/64 laptop with .c modules in Explorer: the name of the file type is seen as "Notepad++ document." I just fixed that issue using RegEdt32. Everything works now except for the file type in Explorer. However, the file type displays correctly in the ShellNew menu. There's another problem: when I run a non-standard option on a file, I get the Open With dialog box. The application is a batch file that quickly compiles the code using default settings.
