Hi! I have a lot of files in my Win11/64 laptop's Recycle Bin that I want to delete but want to know the total used size of my Recycle Bin before deleting them. I right-clicked the icon on the desktop then clicked Properties. It allowed me to select the Recycle Bin's maximum size but didn't tell me the used space. :( I then highlighted all the files, right-clicked then clicked Properties, and no dialog box appeared. I don't actually need to know the space but want gto know how much I'm saving by emptying the Recycle Bin.

Run this command in Windows Powershell to get the size in megabytes:

    (gci 'C:\$Recycle.Bin' -Recurse -Force -EA sil | measure Length -Sum).sum / 1Mb
