Thanks, Eldon. I don't want to fight MS over which browsers I want to use.

MS considers this the recommended path.
I see lots of posts from people who decide they want to be on the cutting edge of tech and install it themselves then discover important things no longer work (printer, audio, wifi access).

Susan Bradley, https://mvp.microsoft.com/en-us/PublicProfile/7500 over at Ask Woody is still recommending that Home Users wait to install Windows 11.

Yes. And reading the review, it appears to not do anything for me. Rounding corners doesn't convince me it's a worthwhile upgrade.

So far Win 11 has just had a ‘spit & polish’ with no useful additions.
It has had some changes like many of the Control Panel features are now under the right click menu of the Start icon which is an improvement imo.
No tiles under the Start menu & no ability to add Start icons to create a folder - although this feature is coming. No drag & drop to the taskbar but that too is going to be added.
There’s some question as to whether there’ll be any further feature updates to Win 10 with some suggesting the OS will just continue to receive cumulative updates until EoL in 2025.

I had little desire to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10. But I eventually did, although I also had to spend days/weeks researching ways to customize Win 10 back to essentially Win "7.5" (thank you, OpenShell!). I've been pretty OK with Win 10 after the first couple of months.

Nowadays, I have even less desire to upgrade to Win 11. My notebook is four years old. It's got TPM and all, but MS has decided the chip is too old to support. I view that as a blessing - no need to guard against MS nagging or stealth upgrade!

Oh, and no more feature updates for Win 10 between now and its EOL? I view that as a blessing too!
