Win2000 Explorer

i've just installed win2000 pro onto my machine.
i've also downloaded and installed sp4.
everything seems to be working fine except there is delays in file operations in explorer and empying the recycle bin.
for example just changing the attributs of one file from read only takes a full minute.

i run w2k pro sp4 as well, it took a while to empty my recycle bin but i got used to it, installed ccleaner

worked a little faster, but hey its not a young 'un anymore

its got a registry cleaner as well and i use this to back my registry up (just in case)

i have installed both of these.
i still have an agonizing delay with assorted file operations in windows explorer.
