I made a major mistake by trying a registry hack to make a folder read only. The mistake was not remembering what the hack was. I have a few folders shared over the network and wanted to protect them from any one, including other administrators, from deleting them. It works great because now I can't remove them. I tried to change attirbutes and it looks like it changes but you check them again and they are still set to read only. Any one know what the hack may have been and how to reverse it? I tried command prompt as well and same issue. The drive is NTFS so I can't access it from my 98 boot disk and I don't have any othe OS boot disk available that I can boot with.
