Win2k Pro :: WINDOWS Explorer :: REFRESH problem...

    Before today, when I was looking at any file directory list display in Windows Explorer, I could rename a file, and the results would appear after a very short pause.

    Now, when I rename a file, the old name persists -- until I close and open the window -- or do a View > Refresh.

    This seems odd... I did NOT change any settings, to my knowledge. Is there a setting that controls an AUTO-refresh feature? If so, what is it?


    Can anyone help me get the old way back? I do not like to have to Refresh every time...
