Win32

I am new to this sight and I just got America's Army but when I try to play it is says that it is an invalid win32 application. What does this mean and how can i fix it? Also AA is a CD.

 

Are you getting this error right after the disc is inserted in the drive? Are you sure it's a CD and not a DVD? I did some quick research at the AA support page, and it seems that the only people getting this error are trying to run an AA DVD on a CD drive. If you don't have a DVD capable drive, the game will not launch. If you are able to install the game from the disc, and the error comes up later, you'll need to provide some more details, or you can chek out these support sites:

Thanks for that input. I just checked and the AA is a DVD.Is there any way to fix it? Could this problem also be because the cd is scratched?:confused

 

If the game is on a DVD, and the computer does not have a DVD capable drive, there's nothing you can do other than removing the CD drive from the PC and installing a DVD drive. DVD burners can read and write both CDs and DVDs, and are very inexpensive. They are under $30 online, and around $45 in most of your local PC stores. Here's some at Newegg:

And, yes, if the disc is badly scratched or dirty, it can effect how it reads. As I mentioned above, I believe you can download the game for free from the link I posted. I didn't really look carefully, but it looks like it is the full game (but I may be mistaken).
