Win7 Desktop Not Contecting to Internet w/ Ethernet Conection

I had a custom computer built and received it just under a month ago and have been using it for about 2.5 weeks with NO issues what-so-ever. I primarily use it for 3D Rendering and Photoshop work. Like I said I have been using it and it has been performing great until today. I came home from work and attempted to access the internet and am getting "No Internet Connection". This desk top is directly connected to the modem via an Ethernet cable and all connections are correctly in place.

I also have a laptop that is sitting right next to the desktop and is getting full bar Wi-Fi connection without any issues. I also have a second desktop computer on a separate level of the home (with wireless access) and it to is receiving full bars and no issues.

I am the only one that uses the desktop not connecting to the internet and it was working fine when I went to bed last night but when I returned to it this evening...nothing, no access.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with the following hardware:
Intel Core i7 4820K Processor
Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 (4x PCI-E 2.0x16) Motherboard
16Gb (2x 8Gb) DDR3-1600Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX780 3Gb Video Card
(no Wi-Fi capability)

Scanned with Malwarebytes, Spy-bot, SUPERAntiSpyware and CCLeaner all gave clean results.

 

SOLVED this myself:

I went to command prompt and entered:

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

as Admin and reset computer.

Worked like a charm!
