Win7 Recycle Bin corrupted

    Windows 7 is telling me that my recycle bin has been corrupted. It also says that two filenames (in the bin?) are too long and need to be shortened. When I open the recycle bin there is no sign of these two files.
    How do I fix a corrupted recycle bin? Any ideas would be welcome.:cry

    I restored the system to a date before the recycle bin became corrupted and the problem was fixed. Now I have to reapply the Windows updates and see which one causes the problem.:cool
