Winadtools and Winratchel

    Hey I have been using this site for awhile, and just wanted to say it is great.
    Got mostly all my probs fixed.
    I just got some new spyware though, and it is bugging the hell out of me.
    It is Winadtools and winratchel.
    I tried to get rid of it using spybot search and destroy, but it said it is in my memory and can't remove it. Any suggestions?
    I'm going to try running spybot in safe mode now and see if that works.
    I'll make sure I post a reply if it does.

    P.S Also, this is kind of off topic. But I am running XP and forgot my password. I deleted the password off of "Computer Administrator" account, so this way it can log straight into windows. However when I boot into windows it tells me "Your password will expire in (Number of days), would you like to reset it now?" However I can't remember the old password to reset it.
    All advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.


    Operating System: Windows XP
    System Cleaning Software: Ad aware SE, Spybot Search and Destroy, C WShredder, Ccleaner, Hijack this, Spyblaster, Aimfix, and a Keiro Firewall.

    If so, you should read the tutorial in this Sticky thread NO HIJACK THIS LOG FILES BEFORE READING THIS: HJT Tutorial & LOG File Posting

    Now post a HijackThis log file as an attachment to your message. All running programs should be closed, including your web browser, e-mail. Close before running Hijack This!

    Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file. Place it in its own folder, for example C:\Program Files\HJT

    Make sure you have HJT version 1.98.2 and follow the guidelines on where to install it and how to post a log as an attachment.
