WinAmp Help PLZ

Hi, all!! I must say this site rocks!!! It has the best freeware selection bar none. My question is .... I am using winamp.5 on a Panasonic cf-28 PIIIM-s (speed step tech) 800mz 256 Ram and 30 g HD. I know I know , Its all I have right now.lol..... I am trying to watch videos and movies ,general tv type stuff. The buffer resets like every minute and stops play till it loads. Is there a setting I can change in winamp or my os (win2000pro) that will make the buffer larger so I dont have to watch it re-freash every minute? I DL the sub machine gun skin if that matters. I checked the options on the sub machine gun skin no dice . no buffer settings. I have a 317 kbps dl speed (clocked from dsl reports) also if that matters . my connection is DSL. I have installed Directx >9 ( cuz it is part of a dvd program I have) Any help or sugestions will be accepted. Thxs for haveing such a killer site.

donno I dl the skin too sec after i dl the player.

 

Can anyone help? I was hoping by now someone would have explained why this is happening, and know how to "fix" it. Thanks for any reply.
