Winamp problem

When i hit Esc to end visualiztions, the screen turns black and I have to hard off the computer - the music will still be playing but im unable to do anything .
Do i need to take this to the Winamp forums or is there someone here familiar with winamp?

Ok i tried to delete this post, but I don't see how.
I played with the settings, and the problem seems to have fixed itself. Now if that would only work on my car . . . . . .
