Window Media Player problems

    I was wondering if there was a way to uninstall WMP it stoped working and I wanted to try to reinstall it fresh as I have tried everything else.WMP does everything except show the movie I get sound I get music but no picture it was working fine but locked up on something and is now acting this way.No setting have been changed in the options.

    I'd recommend you use VideoLan. You can download it free and it is known to play almost everything without problems. Its a plain and simple program to use so give it a try :)

    Thanks i'll check it out but that doesnt solve the broken WMP problem.

    You might not have the proper Codecs to play the movie you want to see.

    If your music files and other media are working properly then dont worry about it.

    What format is the movie you want to watch in?

    Turn off Media Player as your Default player and install whatever you want.

    you can also use "right click" to the file then "open with..."
