I try really hard to help my 83 year old dad with his technical issues, cell phone, TV, internet, etc. Most of the time I can figure it out. Not this time. It's been 2 months of going over on weekends and banging my head. Did I mention I am not a fan of Windows 10? I hope someone can help me!

He uses Gmail. He will only use IE. He said the learning curve is too steep for him to try a new browser. He has many saved passwords, and I have set bookmarks with auto login for as many of his frequently used sites as I can. I had to do this because he kept forgetting which scrap of paper was for which website: insurance, healthcare, mortgage, utilities, etc. I made charts, he lost or altered them. (did anyone see a beautiful mind? Remember all the newspaper clippings? Well, there ya go. Maybe not quite that bad, but you get the idea)Trust me, anytime he does not have to manually enter data we are better off.
Here is the issue: He does not remember his Gmail password and does not want to change it-(again). His cell phone contacts are linked to his gmail/google account. His phone logged him out somehow and he needs to log back in but does not know the password. His PC logs in automatically so it must have the correct password stored SOMEwhere! I went to the credential manager and there is a google password stored, but it the one from 3 months ago.

Where is the correct one stored?

    Try running IEPassView.

Note: Contrary to MGs description, IE11 is supported.

I made it over to folk's house today and ran this program. It actually gave me LESS information. (Only 2 were listed)

Asterisk Password Spy should work. Just navigate to the site you want the password for and once IE has filled the password and you see the asterisks, drag the search icon to the password box.
