Windows 10 Initial Setup

    Hello fellow forum readers,

    I recently got a laptop with windows 10 pro on it
    I wanted to know (for those concerned about privacy) what apps were installed to avoid snooping and also if there is an app to stop manual updates.

    I haven't connected or added an internet connection yet so i wanted to keep this system as private as possible before going online that is

    You have to install a software program to do that (manually is time consuming risky and long winded) and it's been discussed here ad nauseum.

    To add to this, you can not stop the updates on Windows 10. There are ways to delay the update, but that requires changing the update settings to say you are on a metered connection. You can delay feature updates for up to 1 year and quality updates for up to 30. You can pause updates from installing on the machine for up t0 35 days, at which point, will need to install before you can pause updates again.
