That looks like a great update that adds a lot of useful features to a browser I have never used. :p

All major updates have a slight element of Russian Roulette. If Microsoft had to follow the same advertising rules as the prescription drug manufacturers do in the US, you would get a message something like this before deciding to install it:

"Possible side effects of this update include upset stomach, nausea and vomiting while trying to restore your PC to its previous working condition. In rare cases, severe damage to your Windows OS may occur resulting in the Blue Screen of Death. If your PC has a frozen screen that lasts longer than four hours, stop using Windows immediately and call your technician."

    The last sentence should read...
If your PC has a frozen screen that lasts longer than four hours, stop using Windows immediately and use Linux.

I have been lucky so far (knock on wood) and have not had any BSOD's or major crashes with my Windows 10 since I converted. Hope this next update doesn't curse me.

It sounds like all the new features are for Edge but I don't know anybody who uses it.

Update not caused any issues on my desktop, laptop or Surface so far, not that I've used any of the new "features" but then not had time to delve into what they do, long weekend in UK will give me some time I hope to explore.

Edge, I do use at times as not that bad, still prefer using Firefox Nightly, even have my mum on Firefox Nightly and she wont use anything else.

@wile e coyote agree W7 is pretty bombproof, but most Windows OS are past a few initial updates, the main issues with most are out of date hardware that you have no drivers for or limited drivers, to software thats not certified for a new OS, thats when issues arrise.

Well, my prior post doomed me to a problem I had not anticipated. I was one who got into the endless boot scenario. Had I not had a recovery USB flash drive with a boot recovery on it, I would have been screwed. Had to revert to the prior version to get it to boot.
So far, since then, no problems.

I had the same problem Gensuknives... I reverted to a "prior version" and I can get to the Windows Login Screen, but now it does not recognize my password... I have posted "Windows 10 Update Now No access" I am hoping for some assistance soon. :/
