    @son13adyy

The links you provided in Post#1 are both for the 32-bit version of the update. The link you say is for the 64-bit version gives you the x86 version instead of the x64 version.

The 32-bit one turns out to be a Security update for Windowss 10 that I already have installed. It's not the insider fast track update to "RedStone".

    So is the 64-bit one.

I'm in the process of downloading "unofficial" ISOs of build 14267 "Redstone" now. When they're both complete, I'll post Google Drive links to them for those who are as anxious to try the new features as I am.

    1.) They're the Pro versions.

2.) The reason they're "unofficial" is because the update would normally be delivered via Windows Update to those who are participating in the "Insider" program. I was participating in the program but decided to do "Clean Installs" when new versions were released to the general public. The first couple of "updates" didn't work so well and neither did "rollbacks". I ended up having to do a clean re-install.

3.) I put the ISO for the 64-bit 14267 build on my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit desktop and launched Setup from within file explorer. The setup took it's typical 1 hour to complete and I'm posting this from build 14267 (see att'd).

4.) Apparently Microsoft includes Microsoft Toolkit or ESD Toolkit with these releases which enables ISOs to be made. Someone did that and uploaded them to MEGA — a company in New Zealand which is where I downloaded the ISOs from (MEGA offers 50 GB of free cloud storage but, limited bandwidth [I don't know how limited]).

5.) This time the update went beautifully. I didn't have to re-install any of my software and my settings remained. There are differences in the System Settings section but, I haven't had the chance to check all of them out. Nor have I had the chance to check out the new features or improvements.

Why don't you try things out for yourself? Image your drive first if you're running Windows 10, download the ISO appropriate for your computer and run Setup. You'll have the image you can restore from if you don't like the new build or if it causes issues. The only way I can learn things is by trying them out for myself.

I have the Enterprise versions of Win 10 build 14267 if anyone is interested. The 32-bit version comes from getintopc.com and the 64-bit version again comes from MEGA.nz. If interested, reply here and I'll sync them on GDrive.

I am running both Pro and Enterprise versions on my laptop. Interestingly, the Pro version required that I switch from local logon to Microsoft logon to continue to receive insider builds while the Enterprise version allowed me to keep my local logon and automatically logged me in to my Microsoft account in Advanced Options. So, I'm all set to recieve insider builds.

did you activate enterprise edition or in trial period?

My Enterprise Editions are fully activated. I run Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 8.1 Enterprise, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 10 Pro (all x64)and Windows 8.1 Core (x86 on another laptop). All are fully licensed.

It seems I was a day late and a dollar short on the Win 10 Enterprise Build 14267. Windows Update installed Build 14271 this morning.

Yeah. I found it strange, though, that my Pro version didn't get the update from Windows Update so, I'm downloading the ESD for which I have ESD Decryptor to make an ISO and do the update manually like I did for Build 14267.

I think I'm going to restore my drives to their state before either Insider Builds and wait for the "official" public release update in June. On both Pro and Enterprise Build 14271 updates, the Task Bar gets altered with what appears to be empty space to the right of the clock (on my high contrast desktop) and my notification area icons are truncated with scroll arrows that don't scroll enough to reveal all icons (see below).

Sorry people. I dumped the ISOs from GDrive so, the links won't work any more. I think new releases are going to come quite quickly now and may be better handled by Windows Update.

I didn't like what Build 14271 did with my Taskbar so I restored my drives back to before Build 14267 and I'm going to wait for the general public releases in June and October.

Hey guys; M$ is doing things a little differently with 10. If you get the Media Creation Tool and use it to create ISO images of what versions you want, they already include the major updates. Build 1511, for example was a huge update (more like a service pack IMHO) and when I created new ISO's on January 29th, it was already part of the image which saves 948MB of downloads! https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 (Use the Download tool now button)

    mdonah Major Geek Extraordinaire

Did you mean version 1511, build 10586?

The newest build is 14271 and it's not available via the Media Creation tool. We'd have to wait until a new Media Creation tool is released along with the new build "RedStone" is released in June.

I ran the Media Creation Tool davismccarn linked to. What saves the 948 MB is the fact that instead of install.wim in the sources folder, there's a highly compressed install.esd. This gives you the smallest size ISO to burn.
