Windows 10 Pro Clear Unused Icons?

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and I am finding a lot of program icons in the area where you select which icons will appear on task bar. I am sure it is carry over from Windows 7 as a lot of programs got removed as not compatible with Windows 10. Windows 7 there was a Notification area cleaner Bat file that would remove unused icons for programs, can that bat file be run on windows 10 or is there some other way or program to removed the unused icons?

I have used the Notification Area Cleaner Bat File in windows 7 for several years,
was just not sure of use in Windows 10. Used the newer version you linked me
to and works just great.
