Windows 10 Question

Is their away to disable the lock pin option in windows 10.

And is their away that i can disable the password log in thingy.Or use a different log in option.

I decided to try out windows 10.Again and have all current updates.Been trying to find info on these.I am the only one that uses these computers so i have no worry's about some one looking.

 

You can use either of these two options:

1) Reinstall Windows with an "offline" account. This will allow you to bypass having to use a PIN (or, for that matter, even a password). You can also do this by going to the Windows logo on the bottom left of the screen, choosing Settings (the gear looking thingy) > Update & Recovery > Recovery > Reset this PC. If you do this, back up your files first. You will also have to reinstall all software (MS-Office, antivirus, etc.).

2) Type Control Panel in the search box (a.k.a. Cortana). Open Control Panel and click on User Accounts. If there is more than one user account, select yours. Click "Make Changes to my PC Account." Click on "Sign In Options." Choose "Change PIN". Leave the new PIN blank. This method keeps your Microsoft Account sign-in in place.

An online Microsoft account only helps you access certain things like One Drive faster. You do not have to sign in with one at Windows startup in order to use Office Online, Office 365, etc.
