Windows 10 Update

    I have an HP pavilion laptop running Windows 10. I have no idea what version. but last night it installed updates and now i cannot get i to Windows. it keeps saying it ran into problem and needs to restart. over and over this is all i can get it to do. I tried to do system restore but it doesn't like my password and i know it's my password. so now i dont know what to do.
