    Good day guys,

    I hope everyone is keeping safe and is in the best of health.
    I need some help and I do hope you guys can help me.

    Rig:
    ASUS VivoBook F510UA (Physical Hardware)
    BIOS model X510UAR (For software and drivers)

    Biometric device:
    ELAN WBF Fingerprint Sensor. Location: on Intel Series IO SPI Host Controller - 9D29
    Device status - This device is working properly.

    My problem is multi-layered and if you can help me with anyone, I would be grateful.

    My original problem is I bought a new 512 GB M.2 SSD to replace my 128 M.2. I imaged the drive and put the image into the new 512 GB M.2 drive, however, I don't know what I did wrong, but windows was only seeing 128 GB and I had over 300 GB of unallotted space when viewed with GParted. I used this arrangement for a long time because I didn't have time to troubleshoot and thought well... a simple reinstall should fix it.

    So during this time, I had upgraded (forcefully I might add)... from windows 10 to windows 11.
    So now, on to my second problem....
    I finally made time to reinstall windows, however, after reinstalling I discovered that windows 11, was not recognizing my fingerprint scanner. I reinstalled the drivers from the manufacturer's site a couple times before it hit me that the drivers, although showing up when I select windows 11, were in fact windows 10 drivers and most likely are not compatible with windows 11. However, when I upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11, it was working fine and for quite a couple of months too.

    Since it is apparently not a very common device I cannot find alternative drivers. If anyone can help, this might be the end of my problem, if not;

    1. Can anyone tell me how to create installation media for windows 10 or windows 11 that would include all the relevant drivers from my laptop. I know there was a means of doing this for earlier versions of windows, but could not find it for windows 10 or 11.

    2. Somehow image one drive to be restored on another newer, different drive, so that the original space is not kept and the drive is bootable (I tried some iterations and all were unbootable - I know I'm doing something wrong!).

    3. Beyond all measure, find this elusive windows 11 driver for my fingerprint scanner.

    Any one of these would be of great help.
    Thank you.
