Windows 2000 anyone?

Yesterday my old Windows 2000 machine failed to start - file WINNT\AppPatch\drvmain.sdb was missing. This is the machine I use most often, so I really would like to get it back!

Of course I have a backup. Getting Acronis installed on the 2nd partition took a while, but I finally got it running (Acronis). To my great surprise, drvmain.sdb does not exist on the backup! (This was taken a while ago when all was running fine.)

I also cannot find that file on the W2K install disk.

So, my question: does anyone still have W2K-SP4, and have that file, and is willing to send it to me? If yes, please post here, and I will PM you my email address.

Thought I attempt a repair install, although my install disk is just an original W2K disk without any service pack on it. To my very great surprise now Windows just started normally, without even waiting for the install disk...

So everything is back to normal, and I have no idea why it suddenly wanted that non-existent file...?
