    Hi All,

So I know that my Sound card is old, but I'm trying to see if I can get this to work. I have installed Windows 7 last night, and now I'm trying to update the drivers for my Audigy 2 ZS. The drivers seem to go in fine, but any application that runs on it (EAX Console, Graphics Equalizer, etc.) won't work. It says that it cannot find the device the application was made for. I know the driver is working because the device manager shows the Creative Audigy 2 ZS sound card. I have also tried to update the driver directly from Creatives website, but this card is now a legacy card and the best they have is for Vista.

I'm posting this in the Hardware section, even though it might fall under software or drivers.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi slayer,
I too am trying Win7, but in the x64 flavor. I am using the on board audio as my default. But, I did a search for the SB Audigy 2 ZS drivers for my card and found one. Put " Creative Worldwide Support > Audigy 2 " into a google search. It will give you a link to a download page for the driver package:
    SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0011.exe.
    the
I have D/L'd it, but have not tried it yet as I'm using the on board audio. Per the explanation details it is for Win7 x32 and x64.

I hope it works for you.
That means it will work for me if I decide to try it later.
